Southern California Land Rover (SCLR) had it's "Summer BBQ" in October... yes, only in California can you do that... It was held near Gorman California just north of Los Angeles as a place called the Hungry Valley SVRA (State Vehicular Recreation Area). A lot of members showed up, we played on the training course, had a catered BBQ Lunch that was great, a small swap meet for parts and then a run through Pronghorn trail. With 24 trucks in our group, it took about 2 hours to drive the full trail. There was only one real "obstacle" on the trail, here's the video from that section. All things considered, I could have just driven straight up the incline as a few others did after I had already gone up. But maybe the switchback approach was more interesting.
